Dr. Matthew Maley, DDS
Dr. Matthew Maley was born and raised in Sylvania, Ohio and attended Northview High School. Dr. Maley attended Defiance College and received a business degree majoring in marketing and and management. In 2005, Dr. Maley graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy with a doctorate in dentistry. He has since been practicing dentistry with his father. Dr. Maley is also currently the Dental Director at the Henry County Health Department where he practices several days each month. He is also an active member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Society, and the Toledo Dental Society. Dr. Maley enjoys all areas of dentistry. In his own private practice, at the health department and on mission trips, Dr. Maley is committed to making each patient’s oral health a priority.
In his spare time, Dr. Maley enjoys Michigan football, skiing, traveling, boating, and snowmobiling or four wheeling in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Dr. Maley and his wife, Renee, reside in Sylvania with their two sons. Dr. Matthew Maley welcomes new patients and looks forward to meeting you and your family.
Dr. Robert E. Maley, DDS
A Toledo, Ohio native, Dr. Robert E. Maley attended Whitmer High School and began his formal education at the University of Toledo with a chemistry degree in the College of Arts and Sciences. In addition to his university studies, he was employed in the research lab at Ransom and Randolph working primarily with the quality control of dental materials. Following his undergraduate studies, he attended the University of Michigan Dental School, graduating in 1971. Upon joining the United States Public Health Service, he was assigned to the U.S. Coast Guard based in North Carolina.
Since returning to Toledo, he has been in private practice, raising a family of three children, Eric, Matt and Stephanie, with his wife Carol. He served as President of the Toledo Dental Society in 1990 and 1991. He was instrumental in starting the only “street people” clinic (the Mildred Bayer Clinic for the Homeless)at the time in the United States.
His hobbies are traveling, photography, golf, winemaking and the study of chemistry, physics and nature.
Robin has been part of the Maley Dental practice for 30 years. She started as an assistant and is now the receptionist/scheduling coordinator. She is happy to assist you with any of your dental needs or questions, and she looks forward to meeting you as a new patient.
Laurie, Office Manager
Laurie has over 30 years of experience in all aspects of the practice, including chair-side assisting, laboratory procedures, insurance billing and accounts payable. She works closely with the patients to help them better understand their dental insurance plans, and
looks forward to working with you.
Tiffany, Dental Hygienist
Tiffany has been practicing Dental Hygiene for 13 years. She graduated from Owens Community College in 1996 with an Associates Degree in Applied Sciences. Tiffany feels that the best part of being a Dental Hygienist is educating the patients on the importance of good oral hygiene, so they are able to create a healthy smile. She enjoys meeting and building lasting relationships with all patients.
Tiffany and her husband have two children that keep them busy. Her family loves to spend time together in any way, whether it’s walking, swimming or watching movies.
Linda, Dental Hygienist
Linda graduated from Ohio State University in 1982 and has more than 25years of Dental Hygiene experience. She is so proud to work in a state-of-the-art facility with professional and compassionate dentists who provide such high quality, personalized care and who are dedicated to excellence. This profession allows Linda to meet many people and form lasting relationships while providing valuable oral health care. Linda hopes that in the future, she will have the privilege of helping keep your smile vibrant and healthy.
Linda, Clinical Director
Linda has had the pleasure of assisting Dr. Robert Maley for over 24 years, and now proudly assists his son, Dr. Matthew Maley. Linda takes great pride in making all patients feel comfortable and helping any anxiety they may have during treatment. She also loves to educate patients on their personal dental care. She has so much to offer patients, given her years of experience and the knowledge that she has acquired in the field.
She and her husband of 14 years have five children, two of which are married, and five amazing grandchildren. In her spare time, Linda loves to read, garden, cook and travel to see the kids.
Kay, Dental Assistant
Kay graduated from Clay High School’s Dental Assisting program in 1984 and has 25 years of experience in the dental field. She enjoys helping people look and feel better about their smile.
Kay’s hobbies include camping, NASCAR and lighthouses. She looks forward to meeting all new patients.
